Questions before your first dive

Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

You need to be comfortable in the water. Courses include a 200 m swim (no time limit) and a 10-minute float.

Is there a medical form?

Yes. Every student completes a standard diver medical questionnaire before training. Some answers need a doctor’s sign-off, so fill it in before you arrive.

What should I bring?

Swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen and your certification card if you have one. We provide all the dive gear.

Can I fly after diving?

Plan at least 18 hours between your last dive and your flight, and 24 hours after several days of diving.

What if the weather turns?

If we cancel for weather, you can rebook or get a full refund. Cancel yourself at least 48 hours ahead for a full refund.
